Lifegate Christian School was launched in 1994 by a group of pastors in the Eugene, Oregon area with the purpose of partnering with Christian families in the area to provide a quality Christian education. Now located between Eugene and Harrisburg on Coburg Road, Lifegate continues to serve Christian families in Lane and Linn counties. Lifegate is currently offering middle and high school, but in the future the goal is to bring back the elementary grades. Our school enrollment has been between 20 and 30 students in recent years, but our location and facilities are sufficient to handle 100 students without expansion. We have students from north (Harrisburg and Monroe), south (Eugene and Creswell), the east (Springfield/Thurston), and the west (Junction City). Our core curriculum and accreditation with AdvancED allow students to be admitted into Oregon’s four year colleges and universities as freshmen. We are members of OSAA, allowing our students to participate on sports teams at their neighborhood school, or, at Harrisburg High School. We also have a chapter of the National Honor Society. Lifegate partners with families in the discovery and development of students vision for God’s destiny for their lives, preparing them for productive lives as members of families, churches, society, and as responsible citizens. Lifegate is a board run non-profit institution which emphasizes fiscal responsibility that is designed to keep tuition at reasonable levels.
