 Thanksgiving Feast

Give thanks to the Lord, Call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.     1 Chronicles 16:8

 

As we “Give Thanks” and “Count our Blessings” we think of you-our families.

 

Please be our guest and join our students and staff for a morning full of fun, food, friends and fellowship. Come for the whole event or just the feast, whichever fits your busy schedule.

 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE 

                8:25   am Arrive at School @ normal time

                8:30   am Fun and Games

                11:15 am Feast

                12:30 pm Clean up

                1:00   pm Dismissal to go home

 

FOOD - Students are asked to bring the item assigned to their class.

PLEASE BRING FOOD “TABLE READY” (with your name on the dishes)

 

·         6th ,  7th &  8th  Grades  Apple Juice (gallon) & Relish Tray Veggie

(olives, pickles, carrot sticks, etc.) 

·         9th     Grade                  Veggies (corn, peas, salad)

·         10th    Grade                 Rolls (two dozen)

·         11th    Grade                 Mashed Potatoes (crock-pot, table ready)

·         12th    Grade                 Pies or Desserts

·         Staff                               Turkey, Gravy

 

Important:  Please call the office to give us a head count so we can be sure to have an abundant feast.  A feast this size will require many hands, please let the office know where you would like to help or if you would be willing to bring extra dishes.

School Closure and Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, school may be closed or delayed. Listen to local radio stations KUGN (590AM), KPNW (1120AM), KMTR TV (channel 16), KEZI TV (channel 9), and KVAL TV (channel 13). At any time you personally feel the road conditions are not safe for either yourself or your child, please stay home and notify the school before 8:15 AM. Media announcements will be made after 6:00 AM. You may also call the school at 689-5847 for an inclement weather message on the answering machine.
